The topic of this article is to get parents thinking and involved with their children’s use of social media use. The authors purpose of this article is to show how children are using there smart phones apps to stay anonymous while bullying and how parents need to get involved if we want this to stop. The author talks about Yik Yack and periscope apps that make you stay completely anonymous. Parents don’t even know what his or her child are doing or saying online. The author claims that cyber bullying would be less of an issue if parents would take the time to watch cyber bullying presentations or classes. This would help the parent’s stay more informed on what is going on and how to stop it. The writer argues his work by talking to officer Caleb Clark of the Vista Police Department.
